$1,000 Scholarships
High school seniors-attend a California Cash for College workshop in January or February and you'll not only get help completing your FAFSA and other forms, but you can also qualify for a $1,000 scholarship.
Thanks to the generous support of College Access Foundation of California, at least one $1,000 incentive scholarship will be offered at each qualifying workshop held across the state-more than 300 scholarships in all. Please note, the $1,000 Scholarship is not available in Performance Based Scholarship Study Regions. To learn more about Performance Based Scholarships (PBS) of up to $4,000 visit the PBS page at this site.
Here's How it Works:
High school seniors, just attend a workshop, complete an exit survey and submit the FAFSA and your verified Cal Grant GPA by the March 2 Cal Grant deadline. Recipients will be selected and notified after the March 2 deadline in late May or early June of 2010. Scholarships must be used to pursue an Associates or Bachelors degree, at an accredited 2-year or 4-year public or private degree-granting institution in Fall 2010 (within or outside California).
