$1,000 Scholarships

Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) + a verified Cal Grant GPA and You Could Cash in on an Extra $1,000 Scholarship
High school seniors-attend a California Cash for College workshop in January or February and you'll not only get help completing your FAFSA and other forms, but you can also qualify for a $1,000 scholarship.

Here's How it Works:
High school seniors, just attend a workshop, complete an exit survey and submit the FAFSA and your verified Cal Grant GPA by the March 2 Cal Grant deadline. Recipients will be selected and notified after the March 2 deadline in May 2013. Scholarships must be used beginning in Fall 2013 to pursue an Associates or Bachelors degree, at an accredited 2-year or 4-year public or private degree-granting institution in or outside California. The 2013 Cash for College scholarships are available through a partnership between the Commission and ECMC, designated by the federal government to manage the California Federal Family Educational Loan Program (FFEL) Program.
